Yup they have that funky slot that won't allow you to back it out. The PO wants the plate back for sentimental reasons, so I have to be careful with removing it lol...

I think in AZ the seller is supposed to keep the plates anyways, I wonder why he let the car go with it... probably didnt want to ruin the car pulling it off and is letting you deal with it

Unless they changed recently, they were like Oregon, Plates went with the car.. I still have an AZ plate from a '69 Pontiac Lemans I bought when I lived down there and drove back to Portland.

Yeah, he was supposed to keep them. But with the stupid one way screws, we couldnt get it off in a timely manner. Plus it was like 9pm and most hardware stores weren't open. I opted to cover the plate with a 3 day trip permit I ordered online. Easiest route

A buddy of mine just picked up a red 325i auto sedan with tan interior and wants to offload the car for next to nothing. Never heard the motor run but most everything is there. Bet he would let the whole car go for less that 500$. Parts avail if nobody wants the whole thing tho.

Figure someone could use an m50 here. Lol.

I'm crossing my fingers on parts coming in on time
Waiting on a new fuel pump from Germany (supposedly no dealership or supplier has one in stock). Also need to tear off the S54 airbox to replace the stupid TPS on the throttle actuator.
