My friend standing behind my iX just blocked it from this angle, but a few friends had built a 4 foot tall cock snowman in the front yard. It was epic.1988 BMW 325iX - Lachssilber/Cardinal - Gone

So I greased up the input shaft & the spindle. Hammered away more at the Pilot bearing & that piece of sh*t really feels like it's in there all the way even before I hammered it again. Bentley Manual shows slight room & I mean slightly enough room for the end of the input shaft to poke out.
Anyways, my roommate noticed I was gone when he got home & notice the transmission gone as well. Ate dinner & came on out to help me as I was about to slide the damn thing under the car. Let me first start by acknowledging that you guys were right, doing this swap on the ground is murder on the hips & elbows :curse:
Good news is that we 1-shot getting the input shaft into the clutch and when in gear, I can't turn the damn output without of course turning the engine. We ran into an issue before we called it a night.
Bolting the fucking transmission :hitler:
We tried wiggling the transmission side to side to get it to line up with the guide pins. It just won't move onto them, like literally 2-3cm's & it's on them. When we first went to bolt things, we lowered the transmission, loosened the bottom two bolts, & the transmission seemed to get closer, but it's not quite there. Pushing, wiggling, rotating, nothing works.
I know you're not suppose to use the transmission bolts to move the transmission onto the guide pins, so what next?Originally posted by James Crivellone1) The internet is NOT serious business.

BAM!
Proof that I'm not the only idiot that leaves his windows down during a rain storm. Well in this case a SNOW STORM.
Late night karaoke, tequila shots, and slidewayz shenanigans on the way home paved the way for the hangover bloody Mary pictured here.
Picking up .63 worth of premium. Its a recession man! Haha.
Waiting for the call from work telling me to stay home today. Good times.
