Im just going to troll a bit and show you a picture

drunk driver 3 a.m. smashed my neighbors van which hit my bimmer. The back of her van started at the right of the picture. My bimmer was right in front of it. Only damage to heidi was an imprint of ;where she bought her van's; license plate cover imprinted on my rub strip. I don't think my trunk would open if i had tucked my bumpers.

Pretty easy. 4 bolts for each. Unbolt the bumper and slide it off the shocks. Then unbolt the shocks and slide em out

Do this. Then you won't have a face full of fluid. I did mine on the bench. Cut the top off a 20oz pop bottle and use it as a shroud around the drill bit. It will catch the oil squirting out. Then lay an old towel down and compress them to what you want. Finally drill the hole through again and set with a self tapping screw to hold it where u want

Watch out for the nasty fluid that comes squirting out.

Don't be a turd, get some bumper shocks from a vert. They'll tuck your bumpers and still be functional.
