Fixed a fuel leak this evening, so I should be good to go. I know of one other person (Jeff) from Charlotte who is also planning to attend.

Plenty of switch backs and twisty road for a good drive! I will be working this week to secure discounts for attractions and food once we hit the top of the mountain. Let me know if you are coming.
I'll be in town for a wedding, so I'm in. Do we have a meeting time?

No, if you have both ends freed up you can use a little wd-40 and slide it up far enough to get it free of the rack then slide it down to get it off of the steering column.

I will be in Columbia SC on June 21st and if all goes well I will be there for 6 months. After July 1st I should be available to do what ever is clever from that point forward.

Was thinking about this today... what if we all met at the Zentrum at the BMW factory?

Also I started on my E36 rack swap today... (matt) did you move the subframe at all in order to get the knuckle off the rack spline?

Alright cool cool. I will probably use the tractor paint as I have a spray gun. Plus anything will look better than what it is now.

i didn't use a clear. I did sand, tape, primer, sand, primer, sand, paint, wet-sand, paint. But I used rattle can ultra flat camo paint. Once it cures it is like concrete. So before it cured I washed the car with soapy water and #0000 steel wool to achieve the satin look.

I don't know, I bet Frankenbeemer has about 50 Tippmann Paintball guns lol. And Matt I am planning on painting my Grandpas 89 silverado... its paint is shot but I was gonna try and DIY it and use Tractor paint. Did you just sand, tape, primer, sand, primer, sand, paint, wet-sand, paint, and use possibly an aerosol clear code.
