When I did it I kept the external pump, although I had a friend who removed the external pump and just ran an in tank. My external pump was fine which is why i kept it.

I haven't done it yet.

I have a friend who had the in tank pump die. Only runs from the external. I guess as long as you don't run gas too low and get air in the lines it should function.

Did you convert to a single in tank pump and delete the in line pump with the stock filter? Thats my plan, wondering what all is involved.

Fuel pump shit the bed last night, car should be running on a walbro 255 by the dragon. Anyone ever swapped one in an early (2pump) model? supercharged Steve? Jason?
