ForcedFirebird: Looks like one hell of a project. What are the plans?

capucastro: That definitely looks like the euro e30 on CL. What made you pull the trigger on it?

Nice job man, I knew i should have had my bro catch it.

I am in arizona,But that would have been nice to have when i go to Miami in Febuary.

Is it a True 325i? hows the rust? Can it be saved for a Swap?

If you dump the Wheels can i get them from you?

Is a late 86 325i (at first I thought it was a 323i). I let you know about the wheels, but I think I will try to sell them first.

Yeah, but what you don't know is that they are drums from a Grand National I adapted to work on a Camaro. They are aluminum and weigh about 20lbs less than the stock drums, and about 30 or 40 lbs less than the rear disks ;)

Camaro's are pigs and weigh about 3500lbs stock. I shaved almost 80lbs on the heads, 60-70lbs on the tubular subframe, added about 15lbs with the 12" front breaks (Vette dual calipers), minus 20 lbs on the rear aluminum drums, 30lbs on rear seat delete kit, minus 10lbs on the front control arms going chrome molly...

Well anyways, goal is 3200-3300 lbs 250+whp and 250+tq. Tires/rims are from a Z06 Vette, 18x9" in the front, 19x10" in the rear made of Magnesium (another 50lbs or so off).

Later it's getting a carbon fiber hood and decklid.

I'll see if the owner will let me take it to a twisty race before I release it ;)

Sounds like conservative power goals. You should do further weight savings by having a horse jockey drive the car :p

You mean a guy my size? :P

275hp is actually a high guess, I'm predicting closer to 220, tq will still be up there though, and this is an automatic with a 3200k stall converter...
