Hey guys, in Vegas for New Years this year from the LA area. Just as i got into town and was sitting in traffic my alternator decided to take a dump after just two years. Thank you scam artist mechanic i used to go to when I first purchased my e30, I should have known this would happen (assuming he sold me a "new" alternator at the price of a used one).
Asking for a favor before I leave on Monday. If anyone is willing to help me out with tools I will buy an alternator locally and replace it. Even better would be buying a cheap used alternator to get me home as I am in the process of doing a s52 swap and really would rather not purchase a brand new alternator.
I assume I would need to buy a new alternator by tomorrow.
