    DFW 325i friends?

    Howdy.

Been on the hunt for a fun second car that can still reliably get me to work. Looking for a manual rwd ride with lots of personality and no computers. Thinking a E30 325i might be just the ticket.

Not into hardcore mods or track times. Just want a cool little 5-speed with enough power to pass on the left, enough AC for a Texas summer, and suspension that doesn’t freak out my wife. Wrench skills are a 3/10. I can change spark plugs, fuel filters, etc. But I’m in it to learn!

My goal will be a clean interior, decent exterior, great AC, and rock solid mechanics underneath. I like fancy shocks, pads, and tires. Love the feel of fresh bushings. Can’t stand warning lights, squeaks, rattles, or cheap exhaust.

Anyone in the DFW area willing to geek out with a new guy?

Yep. Grabbed a nice one off bring a trailer last fall. Super reliable everyday and really fun! It’s a shame more of them aren’t fixed up and on the road.

Saw a white e30 vert with the top down. Parked near Lazy Dog and STIRR Addison off Belt Line and Monfort. Very nice.
