S50 head is out! Went pretty smooth aside from the headers, what an absolute pain. Had to lift the motor via support bar, drop the subframe and lift the chassis for maximum clearance.

Slight curveball update.. turns out the head is cracked. Need to pull the existing head now, which I have no reason to believe is bad. But we'll see lol. Pistons have arrived at the shop for sizing!

Not sure how to price them but consider them yours! They allegedly have barely been used....

Motor is at the machine shop! 3 days later he called me and confirmed that a few of the cylinders are out of spec by 3 thousandths. Will be proceeding with the 87mm bore and new CP pistons.

Found a little bonus today when removing a piston to inspect.



Eagle rods! Wasn't planning on upgrading from stock rods so this is certainly great news.
