smoke the car and fix any vacuum leaks. higher idle when cold is almost always a vacuum leak or two. it's common for things like intake gaskets to begin failing at this point causing small leaks as...

i think you're right, i don't see them anymore. fcp did have them at one point. summit and a few others still carry kits, but they are not mfgr specific.

the answer is directly above. a quick part number check shows you have a different axle for your car. the axles you ordered are probably the wrong size. you need an earlier model axle, which may not be...Last edited by 82eye; 12-09-2023, 06:22 AM.

i could see it causing binding on the joints the same way a modified knuckle will bind, but i can't see it developing the rpm to experience out of phase vibration. the knuckle doesn't even operate on...

i'm not sure there is anything detrimental regarding phase on a shaft that short. that shaft doesn't actually spin constant 360 like a driveshaft or develop any rpm that would have a harmonic.

82eye replied to Engine sputtering and won't accelerate when cold - intermittent issue (M20B27 - 325e)in M20first is do a smoke test and eliminate all vacuum leaks. if issues persist after that dive into the diagnostics in this thread ..

yeah i just saw the difference is internal but the plugs are physically identical. i didn't expect a processor in the plug but it makes sense. cheaper for a company to change a plug between cars than...
