yes. just the electric driven pump itself. still needs to be modded to the bmw in-tank hanger. it's a well covered mod and easy to do, just be careful around fuel.

early dual pump in-tank pump can be replaced cheap with a chevy vega jobber pump. if you are in the states it's a stupid cheap proposition from a local parts store.

have a look at the rhd engineering lightweight fw. you can lighten the stock fw, but they can be problematic / dangerous if not done careful. there are enough light fw options that i'd leave the stock...

the ones i've seen clipped in. the covers were held by metal tabs that attach to the rear interior panel. the same as the standard panel that normally lived there.

when bushings / mounts are eliminated as a source it usually comes back to the driveshaft and csb. i know they've been replaced but there are enough threads with the same issue on new / rebuilt driveshafts...

did you replace the tensioner or just the guide pin and spring? old tensioner might not like the new belt and / or a new tensioner either isn't quality or has it's own song....

try to get it close due to weight / shipping cost. a starter isn't hard to source, go with a reman or new, lots of suppliers. if you were close i'd just give you my fw. i went with a lightweight rhd...

make sure you go with an oem. aftermarket cps are known fails and a nightmare to work with. cps issues are generally constant not intermittent....

with age they are now failing. if you do a search you'll find hundreds of posts with no fix. hopefully it is not the issue here....
