dunno what you are on about. it's an o-ring. there isn't anything else down there. i replaced the needle bearings and rebuilt the oil pump during my engine build....

it's just an o-ring. i used generic o-rings from an o-ring kit in a lot of places on the car....

its non replaceable. maybe jb weld or something similar but it's likely only temporary.
looks like it had the wrong coolant....

only ones i ever had to remove came out with just some pliers and a little movement. mighta tapped them once or twice with a screwdriver handle. thought i'd have to pry them with the screwdriver but...

can you tell if the whole thing is turning? the sensor body itself is two pieces. about all you can do is carefully work it with pliers and try to pry a little with a screwdriver. shoot some penetrating...

the plaques usually came from bmw, the names were engraved local. can also get a plaque from the trophy shop here with any auto logo you want, they'll etch a blank plate no issue.

my local dealership still does crap like this. they'll give away little roundel desk plaques and gift wrap cars for showroom delivery etc..
edit: ashtray plaques would be when the car was...

the hot tanking caused it.
the damage looks like heat/friction. if it was the original shaft and bearing it would have been fine on a rebuild if not tanked and left alone. most shops don't...

i've seen them ruined by a hot tank here. i've also advised shops on them who have told me they have no idea about them. many shops here don't know how the m20 intermediate shaft is installed.
