my 88 facelift has the 173. i pulled the 525 from an 89 ix....

that's odd. have only ever found 525's in ix's here. never in any other e30 and never a different one in the ix. i've got 525's as spares for the i car.

they are for the ix specifically. they will run a regular i car, think they are harder to chip, which makes them a little less popular. unless you have an ix of course....

my sister got echo - a bargain basement alexa - i keep addressing questions to it as eggo or crack ho - with a quick slur of speech. it wouldn't respond at first, but now i've got it trained, and my sister...

could always remove the bulb which is more work than the resistor.

it isn't so smart. when the collapse comes the plug gets pulled and they go down with us anyway. it's tied to the grid even closer than we are....
