The steering wheel is what triggers the turn signal off. You should be able to have the steering shaft or rack at any position without affecting turn signal operation. I would check the turn signal reset...

Thanks! I think 10mm is doable on the front with something like I designed for the rear, I really don't think the hall sensor needs to overlap the tone ring fully....

Rear was a lot more work. One cut for each sensor and 10 minutes with a carbide bit on the dremel. I didn't pull the rear hubs to get pics but INPA is reading as it should.
