Once I was pretty sure it would work I trimmed both pieces of tubing close to flush and used the extra from the brace for the caps.
The step I didn't get pictures of...

Next I needed to notch the tubing to get around the part of the oil pump that sticks out towards the back, under the pickup hole. If you notch about half the diameter of the tubing it will clear. I tried...

Here are a couple shots of the pan test fitted on the engine. Lots of clearance except for my tie rod boots, maybe 1/4" there. Great ground clearance, I don't have any pictures but I'm sure its higher...

Thanks! It should work fine, i did tilt the O2 sensor more toward the engine just to keep the cable clear of the firewall. I probably could've tried pie cutting sections out of the primaries to get...

If you have a 3.25 LSD that is in good shape I would be willing to trade my 3.73 LSD for it. Let me know if you're interested.

Did some more work on the headers. The front set was just a couple cuts and took a couple inches length out.

Finally got a chance to test fit the engine. It went in easier than the M20 came out. I'm sure it will be much more difficult with all the accessories attached. Test fit the hood, the oil filter lid...

I finally got my engine arms and test fit the engine. The cheap headers I posted above are going to need some work to fit. First of all the primary tubes that fit into the head were too long on 5 of...

Nice work. I searched ebay.de for every N52 vehicle and never came across those.
I can confirm the cheap AA look alike headers fit fine with the Z4 arm. The left side mount is scheduled...

This post is pretty old but wondering if you have an 370mm mtech 1 steering wheels available?
Thanks,

Glad to see you back posting here. I was just wondering how that radiator with built in expansion tank is working out with the N52? I'd like to get rid of my M20 expansion tank but read mixed reviews...

I think Lukej or hubcapboy tried to find those but weren't able to figure out the part number or which cars got them. I remember seeing them in one of their build threads....

If you're planning to order these headers, I will test fit them in my e30 as soon as I get the Z4 arms.
Been waiting 2 months on FCP Euro, tried another supplier yesterday that claims to...
