Technical writer sounds like an interesting job. I wind up correcting and modifying the wording in all sorts of engineering stuff I work on anyway.

And the catuned/garagistic stuff doesn't even fit that great from what I've seen (I have a set of the bumpers). That car sold for $12,500. A rebuilt title E30 with a cheap body kit and a cheap paint job....

Good to know. I have used a plastic polish (PlastX I think) on mine on both my E30 and E34 in the past because both were scratched when I got the cars and it worked well. I've had my E30 for 10 years...

That is crazy. My FD brings me to 9 and I don't think we're too far apart in age.
You want the SHO engine and it's not the V8? If I'm hoarding some fun engines are no 6 cylinders...

Which M tech replica kit is that? The front end looks pretty bad in pictures so it must look bad in person. I do think that with a reasonable drop and some round head lights it might look pretty decent...

Looks like you've been having fun with that Porsche, some nice little trips. The Lane museum is on my list, I love old oddities and rarities. Never thought I'd see a Tourettes guy reference in a r3v project...

Multi-quote is broken, at least for me, and I am sick of doing it manually so I'll just tag you all with the questions and say thanks for the compliments overall. It is really nice to have this car after...

Dream car acquisition; my FD RX-7 adventure
I might be something of a glutton for punishment, I daily drive heavily modified classic BMWs and I am a big fan of the FD RX-7. To me the FD is one of the most beautiful cars ever produced, and it's...

Lots of progress. Good to see.
I'm no Porsche guy, but taking a quick look at major component locations I see the left side has the brake booster, ABS unit, coolant reservoir,...

Great looking car, an LSD is mandatory for any RWD car enthusiast driven car imo. It really does make a huge difference. Last time I had an open diff was when I first did the turbo M42 and getting an...

Just saw this thread, shame I didn't see it beforehand. I only saw 2 E30s there, a red coupe and Cole's drift car. There was a nice E34 M5 there though with AC Schnitzer Type 2s, its owner was a cool...

I was supposed to receive a very important delivery today and found out it's still a thousand miles away. Yes, I bought another car from another part of the country, but this is a much nicer one than...
