Shift selector rod 10* adjustment not working

Putting an M52 into an 87 325is and I cut and rewelded the shift selector rod exactly 10* off from its original position and now I now cannot get into 5th nor reverse.

Actually was able to get the drivers side upper nut on using a flex extension and she is on nice and solid....

Going to see if I can bend the bracket that holds the throttle spring upwards and notch it for clearance and at least get that one on thanks.

Using the stock booster I shifted over .5 inches and now both top holes have bracketing behind them that stops me from putting nuts on them.

The car was originally an auto and I am not sure...
