The same or equivalent pump that came in the s52 car originally. No point pumping fueling around in circles for nothing, it will just heat it up and make noise....

Isn't a a DW200 pump a 255LPH rated to 670hp at 60psi. That is enormous. Why you need such a huge pump? Thats why its so loud.
For an m10 you can probably get away with the smallest pump...

what about a turbo M52 or m54? almost like an m20, but way more modern.
hard to beat the V8 i suppose, but i dunno, why have an e30 if you arent going to use a straight 6!...

I didn't realise they were "worth" that much. That is ridiculous. I'd be afraid to even start it up at that price....

They certainly command high $$. and weather the price is justified for history/nostalgia/period correctness, only you can decide. things have come along way since, but no modern engine will be an e30...

Nicely done. Good choice. You'll never go back to mystery chips.
in order to take full advantage of the ms3 you should also install a proper TPS. The oem one is just an on/off switch at wide...

You can get washers that have a rubber bit on them, they use them in hydraulics. they call them "bonded washers"
I'm not sure how thick the rubber bit is, but might be worth a go....

haha, again each to their own. Map makes for a nice easy install. I don't have any experience using a modern MAF, maybe its better I dunno.
I agree that its certainly more fun!...

Each to their own but I wouldn't bother with any of these chips, straight to aftermarket ecu. Megasquirt makes a plug in. Then you can properly dial it in with no guessing.
or any aftermarket...

air leaks can give a lean condition, which are compensated when cold with the cold start enrichment, but when hot it wont start as its too lean. one thing to look at perhaps....

That cylinder thing is an oddball, not on all cars.
and google is failing me on finding the answer, but its some sort of heat exchanger and those 2 lines that go off are coolant i think....
