Alright, youve waited long enough....
I was approached by a Guy in march, While at tristons house. he asked if i wanted "another one" as he motioned toward the plethera of E30s that was tristons yard. I actually said NO, I dont need another hunk of junk. I had just totalled my M3 in December and i was in no mood to invest in another until the E36 was fixed....
Then he tried to reel me in. "its got crazy shit, Like a front spoiler from london...and its a IA..I dont know what that means but im sure its rare".
I looked at him perplexed. Surely hes not that dumb?...... I was wrong.
So off to his house we went. And this is what we saw
I was actually impressed that the car Actually turned out to have a M-tech2 front spoiler,pheba rear spoiler,3.73lsd as well as non cracked ellips. I tried to hide my excitement when he told me he only wanted $400. Because afterall....there arent many deals this good that are only 2 miles away. And looking at the parts i could easily get that out of it.
But thoughts of a cheap daily driver came to mind. Before i continue theres a little backstory on how much the car actually cost me, Which is infact what makes it so worth it....
(((((I was pondering around our local pick and pull and stumbled accross a E24 Alpina Style spoiler. After searching on the web and only finding pictures of it overseas i decided to scoop it up, for a chance to get some quick cash. Total came out to around $38.00.
Not knowing what it would go for i put up a feeler. I immediately got offers upward for $500 shipped. So that was that. And i now continue the story of my $38 E30.)))))))
Everything about the car was rough, and i mean everything. The guy seemed to have a fetish with white duct-tape and black electical tape. I dont think he actually owned a can of paint.....or knew how to operate a rattle can. I knew what he was going for. Or at least i thought he was going for a Mtech look....lol. I think the most hideous and original part of the car was the Trim Coil side skirts. I think triston secretly wanted them for his car but he tried to hide it :P
