What is 4ngiefest you speak of?


4ngiefest started in 2007 as a casual local area BMW fanatic meet. It expanded through venues such as the online car forum community, and magazine articles. Last year, in association with ClubBimmer.com we drew a crowd of over 300 BMWs and successfully set a record in the Guinness World Record books.

Being the 3rd annual 4ngiefest, we are striving to make it appealing to everyone attending. Every year we collect donations and send money to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Through merchandise sales and private donations, 4ngiefest was able to donate nearly $1,300 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society last year and we plane to exceed that again this year.



WHY is it called 4NGIEfest?

Well, because I started it, that's why. Actually, it was named after me by a fellow fanatic because we hope to one day be the East Coast version of Bimmerfest.. although we have a long way to go. Also because saying the 3rd Annual Atlanta BMW meet at Stone Mountain Park is just too much to say. I hear this question more than anything else..


What's New?

The site has is being updated (thanks to AJ - Beingdevious). Soon, you will be able to register online. There will be a running list of registrants which shows the person's name, location, vehicle, as well as showing them on a map.

There's a gallery on the site with pics from 4ngiefest 07 & 08. If you'd like to add your own pics, please PM Beingdevious. You can also rate this pics and share them on Myspace or Facebook.

We are in the process of designing new shirts which will, hopefully, be cheaper this year. We're also working on some other merchandise such as glasses and decals.

We have a couple of confirmed sponsors so far, but we need more. UUC and Tischer have promised to be there, as well as some others.

DJ Bebe will be there showing us his skillz

AJ will be broadcasting a streaming video for those of you who can't make it.


4NGIEfest:

Lodging info: I suggest using www.kayak.com or you may want to stay at one of the hotels in the park.

Here's a map of Stone Mountain Park. The lot we're using is the Yellow Daisy lot, across from the police station, in the bottom right corner of the map.

"Entrance into Stone Mountain Park requires an$15.00 (CASH) one day parking permit per vehicle or an annual parking pass. This permit gives you access to the Park's numerous outdoor adventures for all ages including the public picnic areas, hiking trails, children's playground, walk-up trail and the spectacular Laser Light Show NOT ALL ATTRACTIONS WILL BE OPEN ON THIS DATE.."

Please note: This is for all BMWs.

Rain: It's possible, so be prepared. Rain or shine, 4ngiefest will go on.

I'll start stirring up all the Chattanooga gang. Last year we had 15 cars and it was rainy. Imagine how many cars good weather could bring out.

What about it? The drive was in April. :D 4ngiefest is a separate event that's held yearly.

in doing so, we will be able to get an accurate head count and car count. I'm also developing a map layout so you can see who is coming from where. when you RSVP there is an icon choice and username. the maps page will be bale to display everyone who has RSVPd. and don't worry, its not accurate down to the home address. just zip code.

It's hard to say. I've seen a lot of talk on various forums about caravans from all over the east coast. I'd like to think we'll have at least as many as we did last year, but I don't know how much the economy will play into it. I know with gas prices and unemployment, it could definitely hurt our numbers. I'm trying to stay positive about it. :)

Sign up and RSVP by midnight on Sunday, January 25th and get a coupon for $2 off a pre-sale ticket. This will allow you to get entry to the park for $10… the CHEAPEST we will offer. Normal pre-sale entry is $12, Entry on waffleswaffleswaffles is $15. This code will be unique to each RSVPer and will not be able to be used twice. There are 2 stipulations: You have to RSVP and you have to opt-in to the newsletter. We will not spam you, but you will receive promotional and information material on occasion. Anyone who has already RSVPed and opted-in for the newsletter will recieve the code via email. Be sure to add news@4ngiefest.com to your allowed inbox if you use spam filtering!
We will also offer discount codes from time to time via this news post, the newsletter, forums, through sponsors, and other forms of media. They may range from Fixed Dollar amounts off, to free shipping on items, to % off of orders. Some will be valid only for certain times, and some will have a limited ammount of use. The store will be a go for a soft-launch on Monday (1/26) at 12:01 am. What this means is that it will be publicly available, but not all of our merchandise will be up for sale. Once we have a good inventory we will launch a Grand Opening. Again, sign up for the newsletter, via the RSVP form (click the opt-in for announcements) and we will let you know when things are happening! Discount Codes will still be active during the pre-opening.
