    Getting a full Resray

I have a body shop friend that has been slow and called me before Christmas and gave me an unbeatable deal on a respray on my 1990 318is. Since I come in contact with so many people, he wanted to do my car. He has taken every dent, ding and mark out of the car. We also had to replace the hood due to a spot that was rusted through the he found when sanding the hood. I have 2 parts cars so that wasn't a problem. I didn't get many pics since he has in the shop working on it but I did get a few when it was outside for final wet sanding. Any way on with the pics. Oh and the total cost of the work is $1800 including materials.

    Before.

    During.

They are Milia 1000's. I bought them off craigslist for $125 but one was cracked. I repaired it and repainted them gunmetal gray. They were a bright silver and clashed real bad with the car.

Thanks, I have had a hard time letting go of the car for the last 3 weeks. It is such a blast to drive with the M50 in it. I have been looking for S52 for future upgrade but with the paint, it will have to wait. It was supposed to be done by Christmas but with all the problems he has run into it has taken longer.
