I feel ashamed coming out and parking anywhere close to all those super beautiful 2002s and CS-coupes.

... but I will most definitely be there.

This is a fantastic event. Went for my first time last year, am heading down this year. Probably going to caravan with my dad in his turbo car.

I'll be there again as well. This time with euro bumpers intact... hopefully.

Drive faster, Vlad. A 9 hour drive will quickly become a 6 hour drive.

I'll be there this year. Maybe this time Mitch and I wont be embarrassed and park on the main road until the end of the event :(.

It'd be worth it in the end, if you can spare the time. Hell, Blunt made it down last year. That leaves you no excuse :).

I drive the same distance going to Rennsport Reunion and other Daytona event, but that's always worth it.

Word on the street is although the 2002 had some oil pressure reading issues (or something to that effect) the man did in fact leave God's Country to grace NC with his presence.

Blunt will be back again this year from MN. Also have folks coming from as far away as OR, WA, TX, VT, OK, and even PR and Ontario.

ALSO, a note to Aptyp and rThor432, think of this event as the anti q-tip shiny shiny event. All vintage BMWs are welcome whether they are a fresh restoration or just drug out of a barn after sitting for decades. This event is for drivers not trailer queens ;-)

Nah the car will be shiny and presentable. Last year I didnt register, so I didnt know if I'd get yelled at for pulling in with the E30 crowd without a registration number. Now that I look back, that was a silly thought. But I registered earlier today, so I'm good to go with no worries!

No worries, if you need me to, I can wash your car for you.

Apparently that is the only thing I am able to do.
