    Ableton - Anyone use it?

So, I'm looking for some new hobbies/things to do for wintertime. A few friends use this software, and many swear by it. Thinking about buying it and getting down. What say you?

winter time in ID, Skiing, CC skiing, snowmobile, Ice fishing, hunting, snow shoeing, all of which are rather fun if you like to be out side. Or there is always shoveling snow, working on your summer car in the shop, Other shop like activities, cutting and splitting fire wood, lots of sexy time, shit like that

I'm trying to prepare for nights after work, and if/when my rural road does not get plowed and I'll be stuck on the property like I've heard happens out here.

Plus I still have the angora goats and multi colored egg laying hens to care for, and maybe springtime I'll be getting my Yaks.

I'm looking for the snowblower attachment on CL for the lawn tractor too.

4x4 quad with a plow works really good till you run outta room to stack the shit. Cut the 1st few snows way way back to give your self the most room before you have to get out the snow blower, or rent a skid steer.

Hell I do plenty of CC skiing, after dark after work hours when i am home. same with snow shoeing into the back country.

PM me if you need some pointers for snow removal (where I was we got about 150 inches a year)

Ableton is pretty tight. I have a friend who's a DJ that swears by it. Most MC/DJ combos around here use Reason however. I'd look into that software if your going to be dropping money on something like this. Ableton is pretty high-end pro shit...

A+ thats why I used Fruityloops in the past too. But it never quite got into the heads of others. I've heard good things about Ableton too from a friend I went to high school with who DJ's.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

start with fruity loops and see if you like the process of making tracks. you can do a lot with fruity loops. if you dig it and see yourself outgrowing fl, step up to ableton, reason or logic.

i would recommend waiting on the latter three as the steeper learning curve may discourage initial creativity.
