Who did I see at Gebhardt?

So, I just realized I posted this in the midwest forum and not the proper, Mountain forum. Who did I run into at Gebhardt BMW in Boulder a week or two back? You had s50 swap.

That was me, Delphin '89, I asked you about the lip that you were running.

it was an 'i' lip at the time. Sig has most current state of my car, but I'm debating putting my old lip back on. You had a nice car.

You should come to meets. It doesn't seem like there was a group really, locally, but I think with me and Sam, and David when he gets back, we'll have to start setting up meets. Like weekly burger night, or monthly, somethin.

Yeah, I will. It is rare for me too actually talk to fellow e30 lovers. I had a chick in a black iX (I think) wave at me last week. I felt bad that I wasn't paying attention cause I always wave at other e30 drivers and no one seems to care.

But definitely let me know when and where and I'll try to make it

LOL.... I know what you mean, kinda... I came from the Subaru world.... and Boulder being what it is, EVERYONE waved, whether you modded or not, old or young, EVERYONE waved lol. I started waving in the e30 and I get really funny looks from the older crowd, and the younger people seem to like analyze me to see if they know me or why I'm waving lol...

Oh, and Sam. I didn't make the sig. I like it though. Just post pics and request sigs, and you get results.

We can try and set times to go shoot, I'm trying to improve my camera skills and I have a friend that might be willing to take pics as well.

I have a buddy that wants to set up a shoot in Boulder, maybe this week. He is pretty damn good, hangs out with a bunch of modded Audis. But I will let you know if we are doing it this week, I need it to warm up so I can clean my car...

Yeah, lemme know. I'm not workin, just goin to school so my schedule is pretty wide open. I'm kinda upset that it's getting so cold so fast cause I don't wanna take my swap wheels back yet.

yeah I need to get the heat fixed in my iX fast, cause this car doesn't do well in snow at all. The audi guys usually meet at Flatiron crossing on thursdays at like 530-6, but they were talking about doing the shoot at 29th street I think.

Ok cool. I'm kinda nervous to see how the BMW is when the white stuff arrives.... I haven't had the car in bad weather yet

Have fun they are pretty tail happy. the 245s I have on mine just act like a zamboni and smooth out the snow. I couldn't make it out of my neighborhood last year when there was like an inch of snow on the ground. (Uphill section) The ix kicks ass though, it will plow through anything.
I used to have a 325e that I would take skiing, it did fine with snow tires. Only had a couple of scary moments were the back end tried to take the lead.

Well, I'm not gonna be driving on the 17s. I have bottle caps with new / crappy tires on them, they should be fine for just tooling from home to school, etc. Trips to Denver, or something I don't wanna do, I can probably borrow a ride, or.... stay home? lol....

I will probably be at Copper / Winter Park / MJ on a regular basis this season. I have been for years. My friend picked up a newer f150 last year and we just take that. No issues yet, but I'm glad I sleep on the way up cause I know my friend is a terrible driver and I'd be scared shitless if I had to be awake for it... I usually sleep up, drive back.
