Hi all, I just bought an 87 325is and Im selling this one to fund a swap. Its not on craigslist as of yet, I figure I would let E30 guys have grabs on it first.
Rare color, paint is in real good shape except on edges on hood and fenders, body is pretty straight, and not to mention NO rust. A few little dings, but overall looks decent. The bumper surround isnt on it in some pics, but it is now. The rear has already had the plastic conversion done to it, and I have a plastic bumper for the front (just needs painted). I also have a set of smoked taillights that can be included for a little extra.
The engine is an ETA with the i sensors/intake (I believe) on it and MAF upgrade, full long tube headers and dual exhaust. Supposedly rebuilt, but milage is unknown as the odo is broken. Timing belt, water pump, as well as the valves adjusted ~5k ago. Engine is real clean under the valve cover. Just did an oil change last week, too.
Has a cold start issue when it is real cold out, but in warm weather it is fine. Temp gauge doesnt work, but I drive this thing every weekend in traffic from here to Bowling Green with no issues. Due to PO being a dumbass, the drain plug on the oil pan is stripped but when I change the oil, I just use gasket maker to seal it up with no issues. New oil pan will be included with the car.
It is a 5 speed Getrag260, clutch is okay, 3.73 LSD. Has an i cars suspension and brakes. Pretty sure its been lowered (aftermarket springs/shocks) New cv shaft a couple weeks ago. Rear brakes need to be done, but I have the parts that will be included. Tires have ~90% tread left, bottle caps are in decent shape. There is so much to this car, but I wont bore you guys lol
The issues are as follows:
Temp gauge doesnt work
Oil pan
Drivers seat in poor shape
Needs sunroof crank handle (sunroof still works, tho)
Shifter kinda sloppy
