    Damn you m42!

So... My idle was nice before (before the mess job) i performed the mess under the intake job, brand new gaskets, brand new vac hoses all around, cleaned ICV, cleaned TB, cleaned both parts of the intake mani, everything is tight all good looking and shit.. IDLE IS POOP, if i rev it will drop down to like 400 then bump to 1400 then back down, then "settles" down between 600 and 900, whats wrong here... im confused.. have i done something wrong or are the Bavarian Gods, mad at me for the sticker bomb fender!!! all input welcome good and bad, thanks for your help have a beautiful day
P.S. i am not lazy by any means I looked for similar stories like mine.. seems to me i am either 1. ignorant. or 2. i did something wrong. finally 3. i have a new problem..

Did you reconnect: throttle position sensor, ICV, evap purge valve, AFM?

I can almost guarantee that you have a vacuum leak.
Did you reattach the vacuum lines (check both sides) for the fuel pressure regulator, valve cover ventilation, evap purge valve?

Did you replace the intake boot? If so, you are missing a plastic plug in the bottom. There's a second hole, very similar to the one that the ICV hooks up to on the bottom, and new boots do not come with the plug. Hopefully you still have the old boot to take it from!

Make sure all the gaskets are sealing tight... I spent 3 days chasing a vacuum leak because I forgot to tighten all the bolts from the upper to lower intake manifold. Make sure all plugs are clean too

Spray around with some brake clean to detect the leak and go from there

Buy starting fluid, and drop it on hoses where you hear a leak, if you hear the idling going back to normal and then it goes back how it was then spray more and you'll see where the fluid is getting sucked at. sorry for my lame english but these are ways to get around without buying everything new my brother!..im having the same problem on my throttle body but its getting solved today. ohh and don't forget a 6 pack of coronas.
