    Start date: January 7th

This is going to be a V8 build/part out thread for the my 86' 325e sedan. After dumping tons money to figure out the running rich issue, I decided to throw in the towel and do a M60B40 swap and sell off whatever I put into it. This is gonna be kind of slow build thread but expect LOTS OF PICTURES. I'm really trying to get the car running and on the road around Spring time... hopefully.

You aren't going to do the swap in your driveway, are you?

Why not? Another member here did an LSx swap in his driveway.

I have done multiple engine/trans swaps in less than my driveway. Having a shop is nice but spendy if you arent made of money. Keep it up buddy, prove all these guys you can do it in your driveway and post a video of you doing a huge burnout proving you got her going.

Did my B35 w/5sp swap in my parents gravel driveway.

...that's when I decided we needed a lift.

Go for it bro! Builds character!

UPDATE January 8th: Diving boards off! Got a little rust in my eyes but totally worth it. Motor and transmission coming out this weekend.

                              Front:

                              Back:

                              Side markers removed.

Started with the back, had trouble with the shocks until I found that elusive 3rd bolt on the top side of the shock.

                              Boom! Looks so much better.

                              Starting with the front.

                              Lower valence off.

Front was easy, two bolts only for the front shocks.

                              Trim off!

                              Finished product:
