    Oil leak

So I had an oil leak pop up about a month ago and I thought it was the timing case since i had just replaced the timing components but Turns out it's not. I really looked at the location today so I could order the parts and there's a bolt directly next to the lower timing cover in between the timing case and where the oil filter housing bolts to the block. The hole the bolt is in is recessed a little bit.

Ive looked on Penske parts to try to find what it does or wats behind it and I can't see anything on it. Anyone know what it is?

    ***Edit***

Found it, number 6 on here. Anybody know what the deal is? Bolt spins in place when using a ratchet also and I have never touched it for the time I've had the car. So I figured its either stripped out or the bolts snapped.

Pull it and replace bolts and gaskets. Check for cracks.

It's genuinely outside of the timing case??? Hard to tell from pictures, but it looks like any other timing case bolt. Which you may know are incredibly easy to strip.

The bolt is separate from the timing case cover. If you look at the second pic look at the crank pulley. Directly next to that (looks like its touching in the pic) is a grey line that runs all the way up and to the left of the bolt. That is the timing case cover. The bolts that hold the timing case cover to the block are on the actual timing cover. This bolt is to the right and recessed in further than the cover. Completely separate.

It literally looks like it screws through the base of where the oil filter housing meets the block
