ac blower motor

About to order a blower motor for my 88 325 with m20 and it says there are two different kinds.
is there any way to tell witch one you have without having to take it out? Trying to order one asap.
please help

It's based on the heater pipes. Pull off the driver's side dash panel and look. That said, I'm pretty sure you have the later, more expensive style.
