Right now I'm running 16x9 et15 on 205/45/r16 all around. Soon I will be mounting on new tires but I'm thinking of running 40 instead of 45 this time. My rear is tucking tire and my front clears the wheel gap. If I slap on the 40's will the gap appear?

If you switch to 205/40 tires you'll have more wheel gap front and rear...

Stick with 205/45 it's a MUCH better fit on the E30.

If you want the front wheel gap to go away you need to lower the front of your car.
