My $400 318is

So here is my $400 dollar e30. I found it in a junkyard.As soon as i saw the car it The banner across the windshield caught my eye. I went over and looked at it.I looked inside and the interior was extremely clean,except the drivers seat had a big tear then looked at the gauge cluster and say that the car had 104,xxx on it. Then immediately went back up to the front and asked the junkyard owner what were they doing with the car and if they would sell it. He then told me yeah for 400 bucks. I asked what was wrong with it and he told me it jumped timing. When i heard that i couldn't believe it. So i picked up the car 2 days later. When i came to pick up the car i was going to buy the factory basketweaves but unfortunately they scraped them =/ so i grabbed the rota slips off of a car in my shop. After further inspection of the car. I noticed that the battery cables were cut -__- and the catalytic converter was gone. -__- the car had a brand new exhaust also. So i get the car to the shop and look over it some more. At the time everything is still too good to be true. I've done a few things to it since i'm had the car, like plastic dipping the kidney grilles and replacing the battery wire next think is to get this thing running.Overall i'm very happy with my decision on buying the e30.

It jumped timing. I already have another motor lined up for it i just have to go pick it up.

Idk when i saw it i had to get it. Timing jumped and i guess they didn't want to sink anymore money into it. Another man's trash is another mans treasure.

Yupp. had to replace the battery cables got both of them for 4 bucks. and have those replaced already. All i have to do is the timing issue.

I'm not doing a swap just yet. i'm just going to fix the timing first. Then save up and possibly do a v8 swap. not too sure just yet.
