    Dipstick oil leak

    Car: 1990 325I
    motor: obd1 m52 z3

    I bought the car with the swap. I have been experiencing a power draw or a failed alternator. I just swapped the alt out. I started the car with jumpers. It ran fine but I noticed oil being spit from the dipstick. I shut the car off and it continued to happen., it seemed that there was a lot of pressure so I removed the oil cap, air rushed out and a minute later I replace the cap. I left the car to deal with the problem in the AM about an hour later I went outside and all the oil had been drained.

    Any idea of the cause? I'm at a loss.

    there is no pvc system on this motor, just 2 breathers on the valve covers, but the dipstick was extremley loose and I have alot of oil pressure so I figured it was leaking because of that.
