    miller war injector question .

what is the biggest injector the miller war chip can handle ive heard its a 42lb injector ? is this true or can it handle a 60lb injector ? thanks

I'm currently using 60 lb injectors on a M50 stroker turbo. I've heard other WAR users bumping it up with 100 pounders. Check out the war room forums.

The WAR Chip is not the limiting factor to injector size. We have done tunes for 100# injectors making just shy of 750 WHP on the 413 ECU. What dictates the injector size is:

      A) The base tune - We don't expect the customers to learn/know how to scale everything necessary in the stock ECU to change injector sizes. So, we have tunes for the most common and practical injector sizes for given applications and engines.

      B) The ECU dictates the injector size. How the ECU controls the injectors is critical to using larger injectors. On the M20 and M30 (Motornic 1.3) ECU the injectors are batch fired all together. The Way the ECU controls injection, going much above 42's on the stock ECU gets incredibly difficult. That is also the reason you can make 500+ HP on 42's on an M30 without "Maxing" the injector out.

We have not tried 60# injectors on an M20 or M30 car. 42's are great and we see the 50 to 55# range being the max you can conveniently use on the stock M1.3 ECU. We do have one shop that is well versed with the WAR Chip that may try to run 60's on the M1.3 ECU and I will then be able to confirm or deny their driveability.
