    Problems Starting! HELP!!!!

Recently I have been having hard start issues. I have very long cranks and sometimes my rpm shoots up to 1500+ on start up. I also had one incident of stalling out last week. I performed a stomp test and received the code "1233" or "Wide Open Throttle Switch". I tested my tps and pins 1 and 2 (idle?) give me no reading at all while pins 2 and 3 (WOT?) are giving me normal readings. Can a faulty tps prevent starting? BTW I have already 1) cleaned and checked all my fuses and relays 2) changed spark plugs 3) checked spark plug wires 4) checked fuel pump (doesn't hum while in the ignition position but hums when car is on?) 5) cleaned and tested cps 6) cleaned and tested cts. Air leaks is another possible culprit but my starting issues just started last week...can an air leak dramatically take a turn for the worse overnight? This is my only car/daily driver so some help would be greatly appreciated!

Have a shop run a smoke test.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
