Is this s52 engine worth it?

Hi all,

I'm about to start sourcing my parts for a s52 swap, and I came across this ad local to me.

I am definitely a noob with cars. The most I've done was change my head gasket and convert my auto to a manual on my m20. This is why I have come to ask you folks for help to hopefully guide me on a decent deal and not get screwed.

Would still need to source a zf trans (not sure how much those go for alone).

thats a good price but sounds like it needs a head gasket. may have a warped head? as cheap as it is, it would probably be cheaper to find a good running engine and pay more for it on the front end.

why do you need a zf? just use your getrag 260. it will bolt up just fine and you can use your driveshaft too. it will just be tilted a little to the right. you will need a custom trans mount.
