After nine E30's I figured I'd try an E34. And I am very happy that I did!
This is my 1994 520i. It is lacking power, but it was in very good condition when I bought it, and it has been very well maintained by the previous owners.
Here's some pics of the progress so far:
The ad:
First things I did was a good detail, painting the trim and getting new licence plates for it.
I then replaced the head unit, and put a subwoofer in it. I am going to get a GAS box for it, but I need to figure out a cheap way to ship it.
Then I found a killer deal on original E34 Alpina B10 BiTurbo wheels, and an M5 front bumper.
I later sold the front bumper, I don't want to do the M5 look on my slow as hell 520.
Then the fall came, and it was time to put on some steelies with snow tires. I also got an offer to trade my Alpinas for some BBS RC090, aka Style 5's, and so I did.
I am still working on them, the center is going to be colormatched to the car, I've got gold plated screws, and I am polishing the dishes.
Can't wait for spring!
