    '87 airdam to '84 eta

Picked up an '87 model's airdam today. Acknowledging the fact that it needs to be sanded and painted, I'm not entirely sure how this should be mounted onto an '84 eta I've seen videos on youtube of people installing brackets that the valence is mounted on, or maybe im seeing/saying this part wrong? Feelin' like a headless chicken right now.. anyone know where to start?

Since 90% of them never come with hardware, I just use a drill bit and self taping screws. I just did one two days ago. I always use 6 screws, one on each side and 4 in the center panel.
