    Turn-Key S14B23 (US)

Turn-Key S14b23 driveline for sale. ECU had failed, sent it for a rebuild. Installed the rebuilt unit, and it fired right up.

I have receipts for the engine since the time of its purchase from Guten Parts, including the recent maintenance. I have for sale an S14b23 (US) driveline with approx 70,000 miles on it, ~10,000 miles of which I have put on myself before I stored the car.

Before Guten Installed it in my touring, it received:

    All Intake Gaskets
Z3 SSK with full bushing/shift arm bearing replacement.
    Alternator Bushing Replacement
    Spark Plugs

Cooling system is practically new. I did a full cooling system overhaul in February 2014, with about 1200 in parts alone (labor was about 45 hours between myself and my business partner). Also replaced the selector rod/output shaft seal and the 32mm lock plate at that time. Car has been stored indoors since May 2014, as the ECU died and needed a rebuild. I have since had the ECU rebuilt, changed the IGN coil, flywheel sensors, and spark plugs.

    Aside from the entire E30 M3 cooling system and the s14b23, you’ll also get;

    Alternator
    PS Pump
    Trans
    Harness
    Ecu rebuilt by Programma INC.
    OEM Headers & Cat

Driveline was also service with the following parts while under my ownership. The following list is just off the top of my head.(attached PDF contains a concise list.)

    -New Voltage Regulator
    -Poly Alternator bushings
    -Z3 ssk
    -OEM selector rod seal
    -OEM output shaft seal
    -Mishimoto Rad
    -OEM Water Pump
    -OEM Thermostat
    -HPS Silicone cooling Hoses
-OEM Expansion Tank w/ cap & level sender
    -OEM Fan Shroud
    -OEM Fan Blade
    -OEM Viscous Coupler
    ECU rebuilt 6/7/15 by Programma
    OEM Bosch Ignition Coil
OEM Bosch Dist. Cap & Rotor
    OEM Flywheel Sensors
    OEM Intake Boot

I’m selling it because I don’t get to enjoy the engine; it makes its power at its rev limit (6500rpm) and I rarely even touch 5500rpm. It would shine in a car that got tracked regularly. I love the sound, the response and fun the ITB’s provide, but I need something a touch more practical and powerful for daily use.

The engine is still in my touring, so I welcome you to come see it run, and feel it perform. It’s a healthy engine! I’m in no rush to sell.

No trades. Currently running and in my touring, I will pull it once a deposit is placed. Located in 10924.
