Windy City BMW Vintage Fest 2015 - **LOTS OF CLEAN E30 PICS**

Many of these and more posted on Instagram @DaftPhotography

It was that time of year again for Chicago's BMW Vintage Fest held at ZF Industries (yes, the same ZF transmission found in your BMW). Lots of old school e21's, e30's, 2002's and some newer blood as well. Turned out to be a perfect day and I think my favorite thing about this event every year is the lack of ego. Just a bunch of dudes who are passionate about classic BMWs and who appreciate wrenching on the car after a long days work. That's enough from me, I'll let the pics to the talking... Enjoy.

    This summarized the entire meet...

The new owner of the Warsteiner E30 M3 was an awesome dude... And the valve cover for the S14 looks cleaner than my dinner plate.

Interior shot of same Warsteiner M3

A different E30 M3. Ironically I was considering picking up this exact M3 when it was up for sale a few months ago. Pleasantly surprised to see the new owner bring it the VF. It photographs incredibly well :-)

    Lots of stunning E30 M3's

Even an E30 M3 Remote Controlled car

    Some uber clean e30's...

This mint black e30 looks familiar (@Cephas)

Someone dropped a Viagra in the gas tank for this one...

    Ehhhh she's stock.

Sleeper of the year award goes to this guy...

A properly done Mini with an awesome Union Jack interior...

    Shark M6's...

The 2002 Crew. (I'm fascinated by these cars)

And of course some modern representation...

    1MMMMMMM

    And one last one. Uhh...

The dark gray or "delphingrau" car with the poorly powdercoated hartges.

Nice pictures. Love going to this meet, always a great turnout. There were what like 10 E30 M3s this year?
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Noooo... that was one of my favorite E30's there! So clean. I think that is my favorite color combo hands down. Peter (Cephas) and I actually hung by your car for a while wondering who the owner was.

Thanks! And yes... it was crazy. I think the number of E30 ///M's outnumbered the non-M e30's

Yeah it was my first event in the area, just drove it 3500 miles in a trip across the country from Seattle. I actually want to change the interior out for black with oxblood/cardinal colored seats, and maybe remove the rear seat entirely and replace with a parcel shelf and a cage, as they (the rear seats) are pretty useless anyway.

The rear seats arent useless.... and theres no reason to cage your car :hitler:

I couldnt figure out what you were upset about until you mentioned it. Car looks great Will, enjoy what you have

im just too picky, and too poor to be too picky. I didnt blend the door to fender area when I had paint done, so its a sharp line of color change.

IDK i dont use them, I just really think a GT3 style color matched cage with a black carpet parcel shelf would look super nice, and be easily reversible.
