    FS: 1989 325i M30 swapped.

****NOT SELLING**** opted to keep my car, sell the drivetrain and put a stock m20 drivetrain back in it.

Having a hard time selling just my drivetrain setup so I figured I'd see if there was any interest in my whole car.

I would be very interested in a partial trade for a decent E30 that I could daily for a while.

My ad for the swap itself can be seen here

The car is heavily modified with a fully built M30B34/B35 hybrid engine. It's fast enough to get in serious trouble very easily. Been on multiple road trips with it and its very reliable although i cant say it gets very good gas mileage. Lol

The car was originally a 1989 325i automatic coupe.
Recent repaint. Has a couple scratches but they aren't noticeable.
Full interior but all sound deadening removed. Cardinal door cards with black sport seats. Passenger seat bolsters are ripped at the seams but drivers seat is decent.
    Crank Windows and sunroof.
    ABS delete
    Check system delete.
All unneded wiring romoved and re-wrapped.

Fully built suspension with condor UMHV m3 offset control arm bushings, ST front bar, convertible rear bar, new lemforder control arms, manual steering rack from a Z4, poly trailing arm bushings on bilstein BTS kit shocks and springs with e90 front drop hats. Weichers front strut brace and a rear strut brace made from a guy on here.

BMW style 10 wheels with newish tires. (I actually just bought them not too long ago but M30 likes to spin tires and do burnouts sooooo)

Rebuilt calipers with braided brake lines, new pads and vented/ drilled rotors

Exterior is mostly stock besides hella clear turn signals and manual DTM mirrors.

Specs on engine and drivetrain are as follows

    -1984 M30B34 block
    -B34 rods
    -B34 crank
    -early euro M30B35 pistons
-rotating assy balanced by Magnum machine
-M30B35 head rebuilt by the head shop
    -Double valve springs
    -Ireland engineering Billet 292 cam
    -Ireland engineering HD rocker locks
    -Ireland engineering Rocker locks
-all new bearings, rings and seals, throughout. (Genuine BMW, elring and goteze used)
    -new chains and guides
    -motronic 1.3 from 1990 535i chipped for 7200rpm redline
-Rare and desirable Getrag 265 with removable bellhousing and brass syncros (E30 M3 trans. Basically indestructible)
-533i 10lb single mass flywheel (needs balanced)
    -E30.de Steel swap mounts
    -new starter
    -new custom exhaust

A TON of spare parts will be included. Extra afm, alternator, spare B35 lower end, Extra valves and springs, thermostat housing ect...

ENGINE HAS LESS THAN 10k on it.

I'm sure theres a lot I missed so feel free to text me at 7579955350 or PM me.

    *****Price is 8k Obo.****

Sorry the pics aren't the best but this is what I've got.

Interesting swap. Definitely goes against the grain. Misread Craig's list ad. Thought that price was for whole car. Almost booked a flight until I realized price was for engine only. GLWS
West German BMWs, they just don't make the same as they did before the wall fell.
^Case in point: Auto-Repair Technology. Everytime my car isn't starting or acting up I let it sit, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. But it eventually fixes itself.

Damn, I'd hate to see the whole car go. You might have better luck with the engine if you post it on a 5 series forum.

It's on my e28. I've had a lot of interest but nobody actaully wants to buy it. Oh and since youre local, look out for m20s and m42s for me please ;)

I know a guy up in richmond selling a complete M42 drivetrain in favor for a M50 stroker swap. I know it runs and drives and I think he was asking around $600, but not 100% sure. He goes to school down here too. I'd offer up my M20 out of the 325i, but my engine swap is the very last thing on my to do list.
