    Problem with idle , starts good

    Hi friends , nearly completed my swap but have a fe problems..
    The engine starts very nice and sounds good , but if i let the trhottle it dies ..
    Does it have some kind of regulation ?
    I disassemble everything for a paintjob including the icv and the tpm but i dont know if they are good ..
    Also when i got the engine the distribuitor was out of the engine. .
    Glad of someone could help

    Just speaking from my 2 m10 cars, It's easy to plug the IAC ports on the intake manifold and intake boot and then just crack the throttle body to set the idle.

      You are sayng to delete de icv ?
      And the fuel comsuption will increase ?

        Since you're adjusting the throttle blades resting position in order to set the idle, technically the car never thinks it's idling. It'll always think it's at partial throttle. The only real concern is that you'd have either a lower cold idle or a higher warm idle.
