      89 325i info

Can you provide a little background as to what major maintenance has been done and when? As usual it would be helpful to know the miles on the timing belt and the clutch. Suspension component condition would be great too!

      Thanks.

I've had it for about 1 year (registration expires this month).

P.O. Told me that timing belt and motor mounts were done "recently".
He also "thought" that the engine was swapped for one with lesser miles (husband selling the wife's family car). Can't confirm that.

When I purchased the car I took it to the shop right away...
He fixed coolant leaks and converted the AC.
I drove it for a while then a u-joint or two went bad. Shop fabbed a new driveshaft with what they said was now a serviceable u-joint (i wouldn't know).

Been driving great since. Had been putting about 500 miles/week on it for the last few months. Noticed it was leaking a little coolant, took it in, they did some work on the radiator, and it's back in tip top shape.

Let me know if you'd like any more info!

        Thanks
        Patrick

Any chance of travel to Houston, TX? I assume it's a bit far for you.

I love driving, but 22 hours is a bit of a stretch. Thanks for your interest though.
