    When I turn...

There is a funny noise that comes from the drivers side of the engine compartment, its really hard to describe though. It only happens when I turn the wheel, its kind of like a wooshing, but not like something is leaking. Also there is a rubbing sound, that may be because of the "rail" that powers the horn in the stearing wheel, but im not sure about that either. Any experience?

    I bombed Korea every night.

I had a rubbing sound coming from my steering wheel.... it got worse and worse. I popped the hood and spun the wheel..... my pressure hose was leaking.....

The car is down now awaiting a new hose that should get here hopefully Tuesday.

      power steering noises

the power steering pump is on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
It is only active when you turn... it's a likely candidate.
I just had my power steeing belt cut through the coolant hose, so I cut it out. I like driving the car better without anyway...

check to make sure you have enough fluid in there.
If you dont, it will make a whine/whoosh.

The power steering fluid... check that.
