looking for fairly clean e30 willing to spend up to 7k prefer San Diego county but if its a nice find i'd be open to LA/riverside area as well. This is my first e30 i will be purchasing so any tips you guys may have while i'm on the hunt would be greatly appreciated.

Your WTB post is way too vague. There are a lot of variations of E30 so you should indicate exactly what type of E30 you want and/or do not want - such as "2-door or 4-door ok, but no convertibles or IX" or "any color except for black or bronzit", and maybe even specific years and models that you do or do not want. It will help reduce the noise and get you more suitable candidates.

I have 3 cars for you.

1) 89 325i Schwartz Coupe 5 speed
Fresh Cylinder Head, 140k block with Rod Bearing and Piston Rings done.
Bilstein/h&r
15x7 acs
Crackless dash
Black sport seats
Car is almost done, will ask $6k obo.

2) Alpine White 325i Coupe Auto
200k but real clean. Tan interior
Needs diff fluid/rear wheel bearing and has an oil leak.
Tags and smog just done. On stock bcaps.
$3500.

3) 88 325is 5 speed.
Not quite ready yet. But if you dont mind waiting i can fix it up real nice or you can buy as is for $2700.
