Is this the engine serial number?

Trying to get more details on my engine. Primarily the month and year it was made.. I read that the serial number is under the intake manifold, right above the oil sump pan.

I keep trying to use these numbers in realoem but Im having no luck. This is right behind the oil dipstick tubing (removed).

The casting date for the block is right below the head surface around cylinder 4 starter side. Follows the day / month / year format.

Found another number but its not a date. '1721464' Seems to be the block part #. Not much else there, but it could be blocked.

I'll look again when I start stripping it down.

If its the original engine, Use the VIN Number in RealOEM. I have a PDF of BMW casting numbers I will look for if its not the original Engine to your car.
