    Fiberglass work

I want to reinforce some parts (and fix a crack). Mostly the IS lip. Im wondering how hard it is to do? Its not going to be heavy duty, just something to give it some better structure. Any info appreciated. I have no idea how hard this is so just say so if it may be to much for a beginner like me.

    I bombed Korea every night.

It's not hard to do. I think I remember you from E30 sport, you are in Plymouth, right? There are a few of us here in Plymouth/Wayzata that are E30 fanatics. Email me if you are interested in meeting or need help with the fiberglass work...

Just try it. The only way to really know is to do it yourself. Just remember: use a good mask, wear gloves, and when sanding, cover up as much as possible, or you'll itch like hell.

The first time I sanded my speaker box I was wearing some surf shorts, and nothing else. Biggest mistake ever.

Fiberglass is intimidating but easy to use. Just get in there and dont be afraid to use the listed amount of hardener. Biggest mistkae trying to make a hood and then not have the resin dry becuase I didnt add enough hardener to it. Dont overdo it either, or the glass will dry up in a minute. Work quickly and efficiently and you should be trouble free. And COVER UP!!
