Best Valve Stem Seal Kit Brand

Anyone have experience with different brands of valve stem seals kits? Anyone have good/bad luck with either Miesterstatz, Elring, Corteco, or Genuine BMW??

Ones I took off were Victor Reinz, but can't seem to find anyone who sells them.

    Thanks

    Incase you are still looking.

    Try here: https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Sit..._34_9_059_172/

Stay away from Victor Reinz, the quality isnt there but they are almost always the cheapest brand out there. All the other brands should be ok. Geniune BMW will always be best but you do get what you pay for.

i might be wrong but i think even the VR are viton so should not be a big issue. i never choose the cheapest ones if there is a choice so i think i'm getting something superior

Corteco made the valve stem seals for bmw. It is the brand they used when they assembled the cylinder heads at the factory. Fcp euro sells them. Genuine BMW = Corteco

I had both Earling and OEM bmw that came with my OEM had gasket kit.
One thing I noticed, OEM bmw had much less stiction on valve stems. Erling set had so much stiction, they held valves at any position thru their stroke. Closer look showed that their inside profile is completely different.

Long story short... I went with OEM as I believe their design offers better valve stem lubrication due to more consistent oil metering.

both the genuine ones and the set of 16 you get when you buy corteco 19030310 are Viton (FPM) so id use either of those. they look the same except the colour and the codes
