US Early model Front bumper black trim removal and reinstall

Hey guys, I picked up the black trim piece from a diving board bumper to put on the front of my 86 to fill the spot where the licence plate gap is and to get rid of the signals on that part of the bumper, does anyone have any recommendations on how to reinstall that piece on the front? i pulled if the back just using a screwdriver to pry it out and pull it from there, thanks!
