    SOLD [PDX] FS: 1989 325is

Up for sale is my 1989 BMW 325is 5-speed coupe. I‘ve had it since 2000, and am the third owner. Selling because I just don’t drive it much anymore. It was my daily driver until 2013, and then it was stored in a heated garage.

It has about 200k miles, although the odometer stopped working. This E30 has lots of extras, upgrades, and hard to find Euro parts which are detailed below. It is very reliable, and a blast to drive. I ran it through DEQ about a week ago, and have the certificate to include with sale. Clean Oregon title in hand.

    SOLD Cash only. No trades.

    Interior:
    • Recaro LS front seats, covered in tan leather to match Natur interior. They are mated to original E30 seat rails for seamless integration.
    • E30 M3 rear seat, original Natur leather. No cracks or tears, but is a little faded in spots.
    • Tan houndstooth door panels. Vinyl portion re-dyed to match interior.
    • OEM E30 M3 gauge cluster with aluminum trim rings and Alpina-style rpm trim. Chip swapped to work with six-cylinder. Oil temperature gauge not connected. Needs new odometer gears.
    • Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel with rare center pad. Rare original MOMO horn button with BMW roundel.
    • Black pedal set and footrest from BMWpedals.com
    • Soft leather e-brake surround. Leather wrapped e-brake handle.
    • E36 window switch retrofit
    • Cup holders where ashtray once was. Ashtray included in sale.
    • Near mint Husco armrest with cup holders.
    • Auto-dimming overhead light mod.
    • OEM Euro trunk storage tray, which fits on the battery cover. Includes euro warning triangle and case
    • OEM Euro trunk lid trim piece.
    • Full trunk tool kit with no missing pieces.
    • OEM maplight mirror.

    Electronics:
    • Custom enclosure (“Lukebox”) houses a single JL audio 10W3 V3 subwoofer. The speaker fires through the ski-pass hole behind the rear seat. The custom box is slim in the trunk, and allows access to the spare tire.
    • Rockford Fosgate Power 500a2 and Punch 600a4 amplifiers.
    • 2-farad capacitor to keep amperage draw even.
    • Amps and capacitor are mounted to a carpeted panel in the trunk for a clean look.
    • Sound deadening material installed in the trunk and behind the rear seat.
    • Alpine CD player
    • Factory premium speakers

    Exterior:
    • OEM EuroBosch “Smiley” Ellipsoid Headlights, retrofitted with 55W 4500K HID lighting and amber city lights.
    • Clear turn signals with amber stealth bulbs.
    • 3000K HID lighting in fog lights
    • OEM Euro “IS” side skirts
    • OEM Euro grills
    • Genuine MHW smoked tail lights.
    • Full shadowline trim treatment.
    • Yakima roof rack with cross bars

    Wheels & Tires:
    • 15x7 OEM Style 10 wheels, centers painted black
    • almost new 225/50/15 Toyo Proxes4

    Suspension, Brakes & Steering:
    • H&R Sport springs
    • Bilstein Sport Shocks
    • Sparco front strut brace
    • Sturdy E46 rear shock mounts
    • Power steering removed
    • New brake pads and rotors have less than 10k miles. Brakes do not squeak.

    Engine, transmission and driveline:
    • Strong running M20B25 engine and 5-speed manual transmission.
    • 3.73 limited slip differential.
    • Recent tune-up included new timing belt, water pump, radiator hoses, fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coil, distributer cap, and ignition rotor. Coolant Flush. Cleaned and rebuilt fuel injectors.
    • Bavauto performance chip
    • Cone intake with heat shield and K&N filter
    • Magnaflow exhaust and high-flow cat.
    • Z3 short shift lever. Rebuilt all shift linkage components at time of install.

    Known Issues:
    • Paint on front lower valence shows typical chipping
    • Inside of rear deck lid has some rust. I believe it could be saved.
    • Rear differential is noisy.
    • Suspension bushings are due to be replaced.
    • OBC and gauge cluster backlighting works intermittently. Likely a loose wire or SI board issue.
    • Vacuum leak causes intermittent CEL. Does not affect drivability.
    • AC system works but does not blow cold.

                              Agreed.

Though I do get a kick out of watching OP post 'Bump!' and then seeing the lady in his signature "Bump" the other lady right smack dab in the face.

                              I love me an 89 325is.
