    The Search... Found E30

    Greetings!

    Long time E30 fan and found someone locally with a 88 325is with 110,000 miles

    Clean and hasn't been driven since 2011.Needs hanger bearing as of now but will find out more info.

    What should I look out for? Going to make some time to have a look at this vehicle.

    Asking around $4K US

        Battery tray, wheel wells, generally the entire area under the wheels and everything from the mid section of the car back. Look for bubbles around the edges of the windows, and generally any area where dirt can get trapped because over time dirt + moisture = rust. Being where you are you also want to add anywhere that salt could collect and eat metal

          also around the windshield and around the front strut areas and under the fuse box area.

          These Eastern Canada cars are known for rusting badly...much faster than western Canadian cars, unless it was stored during winters.

            If the car has a sunroof the sunroof panel is very prone to rust as well. ;)
