    Radio keeps blowing internal fuse

been trying to get the radio working. PO said it was just in anti theft mode, i did not know enough at the time but found the problem to be the 5amp fuse inside the radio. Upon swap it would light up with code and then blow a second later. I thought it had to do with the tape adapter in the unit (would make a sound) so I pulled the radio out and removed that. But with new fuse and no adapter it still just lights up, speaker crackles and fuse blows. Any thoughts? Something to do with a blown speaker maybe?

Disconnect all your speakers, leave only power, constant, and ground connected. If your fuse still blows, your radio has a short internally. If the radio does not blow the fuse, connect one speaker at a time until it blows, that would be your speaker that is causing the issue.
