Pretty sure they are just lights from random auto store. They look a whole hell of alot better when you delete them though. Just have body shop fill the holes and paint the spots

They aren’t BMW specific by any means. They are just a DOT approved side marker. Nothing about them is BMW except they are on one. They just take a hole saw to the car and drill out the holes and then wire them in to the headlight circuit for the tail lights in the trunk. I was at the auto store one day and saw the exact side marks my car had on them before i shaved them.


Edit: nvm i see the bmw logo on the one i missed that. Mine had no logo they were just some random markers from auto store.

Yeah I plan to delete them eventually. It's weird there's a BMW stamp on it but I search the numbers and nothing is found. Welcome to having a grey market cat I guess haha

Yea i missed the stamp on the one. Thats odd. Like i said the ones on my grey market car were just random markers. I even found the exact set at i think it was advanced auto not that long ago and my car was imported in 88 and is an 84 so they have been around a while

maybe look at e21s and 2002s for the side markers, same style it looks like.

Mine had no bmw markings on them and are getting removed

Thought they were E12 or E21 ugly things. DELETE them!!

It's just a standard 4 door with euro bits has an m40 In it which I think is kinda cool

Thats probably what they are. I figured those were the E21 lights..

I think depending on where/ when they were federalized depends on what they screwed into your car, sometimes they screwed them just into the bumpers and not the fenders

Yeah they look identical to e21. I'll get some and update when they get here
