    WTS 88 BMW 325 w/S50 coupe e30

    Sold
    Hi,
It's time to move on to some other bmws I have in the garage and this one has to go. Selling my well put together 88 325 w/S50. This is an all numbers matching no accident absolutely zero rust PNW e30! Also comes with clean and clear title. No surprises, everything works, great car. I've been working on this e30 for a little over 3 years and have done most of the work myself. I bought this car completely stock with an S50...( intriguing to why an s50 would have been put in a car with stock blown suspension, terrible brakes, stock shifter, torn seats, flex tube exhaust and open 2.93 diff)

    Exterior:
I picked this car up because of its all numbers matching original body with a working ODO. I've had a few other e30's with very minor rust and didn't want to deal with that again. This e30 is bone dry with zero rust anywhere, not even surface rust. The body is extremely straight and accident free. Paint is Cirrus Blau Metallic and original with clear coat fade on roof. No leaks and manual sunroof works great. Added crack free fogs, and IS lower spoiler. Projectors have HID headlights that are bright and work great. Original pop out rear window and seals in great condition. Rear euro plate filler.

    Interior:
The inside of this e30 is mostly stock down to the original BMW radio. Complete flawless crack free dash and rip free headliner. I have replaced the worn torn comfort seats with reupholstered sport seats and Hounds tooth rear. It's kinda a miss match but feels awesome. Rare Husco arm rest in fantastic condition with working cup holders. All windows work great as well as switches. Upgraded to working Map light mirror, ZHP shift knob, z3 short shifter, led dome lights, and auto dome light dimmer. I removed the truck tar about 65 pounds and complete pain in the ass. Custom momo BMW wheel will not be included.

    Driveline/Motor:
Motor was pulled from a 95 M3 S50 OBD1 with 75k miles. At the time of install was professionally installed by a shop no longer in business in Bellevue. No documentation on the swap and was done by previous owner. Motor was refreshed and rebuilt at that time with JE pistons, Mishimoto radiator, new plugs, wires, BMW OEM vacuum lines, Miller War chip, and injectors. Motor is paired with original G260 5speed. I've added a 3.73 LSD with great lock up and no leaks or whine. Sitting on condor solid S50 motor mounts (will include new E28 green top OEM mounts) and Z3 steering rack. Motor is protected by Red46 oil pan guard I installed new. (I did run into the guy who did the motor rebuild and can confirm to its condition)

    Suspension:
I've added new Ground Control coilovers (Complete kit, not welded) paired with adjustable Koni struts and Ground Control street camber plates. Also brand new UUC sway bars front and rear with sway bar adjustable end links and reinforcement tabs (only front is installed, rear will be included in sale however wasn't needed). New lower control arms, new Tree House Racing Control arm mounts (the real ones), and new tie rod ends. Ive also taking the e30 to TruLine Seattle "race alignment shop" for a full tune and alignment done. (Handles incredible!) spring rates are a bit stiff for everyday driving in seattle and I will include the more comfortable ground control 500lb springs. This has been a weekend car for me and simply love the way it rails the road.

    Wheels/brakes:
Added 17" Fifteen52 turbo tarmac wheels which remain in new condition (no rash or bends) paired with a square set of 235/40/17 Toyo Proxies. Installed Motorsports Hardwear extended race studs and 5mm hub centric spacers. With all this new suspension and S50 power I upgraded the brakes to rebuilt RX7 turbo 4 piston big brakes, Corrado Rotors, UUC stainless brake lines, StopTech quite semi ceramic street pads (also included are brand new Hawk race pads) and full brake flush. During the rebuild of the brakes I ground them smooth and ceramic coated them red, complete with real M stickers. (Brakes require 15" plus wheels) booster has been upgraded to 944 turbo booster and the brakes work flawlessly and incredible over stock. Rear brakes remain stock with UUC stainless lines and same new pads. I've never drifted this car so ebrake remains perfectly intact. In fact the car has never seen the track unfortunately.

    Exhaust:
Coming off the S50 are stainless ebay headers and stainless y-bend and new fully custom Exhaust including Flowmaster high flow cat, Vibrant resonator, Vibrant 1148 muffler with new 2.5 stainless all the way back. Sounds incredible with zero rasp. Car runs externally clean with no smoke, however it's been in the PNW it's whole life and have zero idea on how to pass Cal BAR. We don't have to worry about that in Washington. Unless you feel you can make the adjustments needed to pass California's strict emissions standards, be advised you're buying at your own risk as is. (That being said, it's well documented on S50 e30's legally passing on R3V)

    Cons: (cars always have them)
•No AC (lines are still intact, however no s50 pump)
•High pressure power steering line is leaking and will need to be replaced, I recommend Chase Bay kit ( I may do this myself, however little baby at home posing difficult)
•lifters make noise when cold and could need cleaning or simple replaced
•radio stopped working when battery died from sitting too long and now requires code input that I don't have
    •clear coat wearing on roof
•metal bumpers, some like em some don't. Great thing about an 88, is its simple to swap to plastics. No modifications needed

SOLD . Car is located in Seattle WA and can be seen with advanced notice. Ad will be removed when sold. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. No test drives unless proof of funds.

I absolutely love this car and will be sad to see it go. I was going to repaint the car and add plastic bumpers but just ran out of time. I recently picked up an f80 m3 and have an e28 and e10 that needs love. This is a proven s50 build and has been a daily driver for a couple years mostly in spring and summer. Over 20k miles on swap. Serious buyers will leave contact info and have proof of funds. Your credit union will not fund the full value of this car FYI. :) I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country. Trades are always welcome if in like condition. Please take the time to provide a photo and cash offer with the trade.

    Trades:
    E46m3 6speed
    Full size 4x4 truck
    Muscle car
Open to most trades as long as In good condition, mostly looking for full size trucks, no projects or drift buckets.

    Tom

Very clean car and well written ad.

I suspect this type of car could do well on bring a trailer?

    Best of luck with sale.

Thank you! I really do love this car. I'd like it to go to someone local if possible and keep it in he PNW and if I had to get a lot out of it I'd consider Bring a trailer, but I feel my price is extreamly fair.

Bump for a solid car and a solid dude. This car is priced extremely well for what has been done to it. I still think you should hold onto this and sell your other piles ;D
