Where do you guys buy body components?

I noticed there's really no vendors on classifieds selling aftermarket lips, sideskirts, etc. Other than ebay do you guys have any recommendations or sites for exterior body parts?

38 views isn't much at all, and most forums move pretty slowly.

Anyway, have you looked at ECS Tuning? They have factory iS skirts and many other OEM body panels. If you read a few build threads, people often mention where they got something and if not, they'll usually tell you if you just ask.

There aren't a lot of OEM body panels left that can still be had new. ECS seems to pretty consistently have the side skirts and M-tech 2 parts. Blunttech is supposed to be great at getting OEM parts as well. But most of that needs to be bought used anymore.

Then you have the huge fiberglass market on ebay.

What year is your car? That would help a bit, but the classifieds here have some OEM pieces from time to time.

I have a 91 so it’s a late model. So far I’ve ordered stuff from ecs. Haven’t tried bluntech although I’ve heard of them.

None of these vendors are sitting on these parts and they all pull from virtually the same sources. New OE parts come through Worldpac who of course buys it from dealers. The exceptions are the vendors who are more resourceful such as Blunt or GPS (who imports a lot of stuff).

online catalogues are also not always reliable since they do not get updated in sync with inventories. You can order it online or call to confirm availability and never see the part so hard to get stuff is really luck of the draw.
